Revlon Royal is a royal blue jelly. I'm normally not a big fan of jellies but I couldn't resist a rich blue like this one. I think this is one of the best drugstore blues out there!

The formula is great. I used two coats here and as you can see, it's quite opaque for a jelly, but it still has that squishiness to it. Literally every time I wear Royal (and I've worn it about three or four times now), I get at least one person asking me if it's shellac. So I guess if you want that gel manicure look without the salon service price, this makes for a nice budget alternative. Obviously the wear time won't be comparable to a gel mani, but us addicts can't wait a whole month to polish our nails anyways, right? ;)
Royal is probably one of the most famous polishes Revlon makes and I can see why. I love the contrast between the deep blue and the jelly finish. If you're a blue lover, Royal is a must-have!
